Terms of Service

Last updated: 30th May 2026 (rev. 3)

These Terms of Service govern your use of Streampal.tv and all related tools and services provided by us. By accessing or using Streampal.tv, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before using the service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of Streampal.tv, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and that you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or guardian to use the service.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use Streampal.tv.

2. Description of Service

Streampal.tv is a free stream management platform that provides tools including but not limited to song requests with a live overlay, synced lyrics, chatbot commands, automated moderation, go-live announcements, and a customisable public profile page. The service is currently in Early Alpha and features may change, be added, or be removed at any time.

The service is provided free of charge. No payment is required to access any feature.

3. Account Registration

Streamer accounts on Streampal.tv require you to authenticate via a supported third-party platform (currently Twitch). By connecting your account, you grant Streampal.tv the permissions necessary to provide the service, such as reading chat messages and posting bot messages in your channel.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your connected accounts and for any activity that occurs under your Streampal.tv account. You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

We offer two-factor authentication (2FA) as an optional additional layer of security. If you enable 2FA, you are responsible for keeping your authenticator app and backup codes secure. Backup codes are shown only once at setup and cannot be retrieved afterwards. Loss of both your authenticator device and backup codes may result in permanent loss of access to your account.

You can view and revoke active sessions at any time from the Dashboard. We log basic session metadata (device type, approximate location) to help you identify unrecognised logins. You should review your active sessions regularly and revoke any you do not recognise.

4. Acceptable Use

When using Streampal.tv, you agree not to:

Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm other users or viewers.

Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its related infrastructure.

Use the chatbot or any automated feature to send spam or unsolicited messages.

Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the service.

Use the service in any way that violates the terms of Twitch, TikTok, YouTube, or any other connected platform.

Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these conditions.

5. Third-Party Platforms

Streampal.tv integrates with third-party platforms including Twitch, TikTok, YouTube, and Spotify. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for changes to third-party APIs or platform rules that affect the functionality of Streampal.tv.

Streampal.tv is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with Twitch, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, or any of their parent companies or affiliates. All product names, trademarks, and registered trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Use of these names does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

Spotify is used to identify the currently playing track and provide song data for the song requests overlay, including track metadata and synced lyrics. Connecting your Spotify account is optional. If connected, we access only the information necessary to display now-playing information on your stream overlay.

Streampal.tv integrates with TikTok Live to power features including song requests, gift events, and like goals in your streams. This integration is not officially endorsed by TikTok and may be subject to changes in TikTok's platform policies at any time. We are not responsible for any limitations, disruptions, or changes in functionality caused by third-party platform policy or API changes.

6. Public Profile Pages

Streampal.tv allows you to create a public profile page accessible at streampal.tv/[username]. This page may display information you choose to share, including a biography, social links, and custom panels. By publishing content to your public profile, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to display that content publicly as part of the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you publish on your public profile. You must not include content that is unlawful, defamatory, harmful, or in violation of any third party's rights. We reserve the right to remove public profile content that violates these terms.

7. Viewer Accounts

Streampal.tv provides free viewer accounts for stream audiences. A viewer account lets viewers identify themselves when making song requests or interacting with features on a streamer's page. Viewer accounts are separate from streamer accounts.

Viewer accounts can be created with an email address and password, or by connecting via Twitch. An email address provided at registration must be verified before the account can be used.

Streamers may optionally require viewers to be signed in to a viewer account before making song requests. This is a per-streamer setting and is disabled by default.

Viewer accounts are subject to the same Acceptable Use rules in section 4. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate viewer accounts that are used to abuse the service or circumvent a streamer's moderation settings.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software, and intellectual property associated with Streampal.tv is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our express written permission.

By using Streampal.tv, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, transmit, and reproduce content you submit through the service — including custom commands, bot messages, and uploaded audio files — solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

9. User-Uploaded Content and Copyright

Streampal.tv allows you to upload audio files for use with the soundboard feature. These files are stored on Streampal.tv servers. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you upload complies with all applicable copyright laws and that you have the necessary rights, licences, or permissions to upload, store, and use that content through the service.

By uploading content to Streampal.tv, you represent and warrant that:

You own the content or have obtained all necessary rights, licences, consents, and permissions to upload it and grant us the licence described in Section 8.

The content does not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or any other rights of any third party.

You have the right to grant the licence described in Section 8 without violating any agreement you have with a third party.

We do not pre-screen uploaded content but reserve the right to remove any content that we believe, in our sole discretion, infringes third-party rights or violates these terms. Repeated infringement may result in account termination.

10. Copyright Infringement (DMCA)

Streampal.tv respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content hosted on Streampal.tv infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated copyright agent at:

[email protected]

Your notice must include all of the following:

Your full legal name and contact information (address, telephone number, and email address).

A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.

A description of where the allegedly infringing content is located on Streampal.tv, with enough detail for us to locate it.

A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the content is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

    Your electronic or physical signature.

Upon receiving a valid takedown notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and will notify the user who uploaded it. That user may submit a counter-notice if they believe the content was removed in error.

We reserve the right to terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Streampal.tv and its operators, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including legal fees — arising out of or in any way connected with:

Your access to or use of the service.

Any content you upload, submit, or transmit through the service, including soundboard audio files.

Your violation of these Terms of Service.

Your infringement of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right.

We reserve the right to assume exclusive control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with us in asserting any available defences.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Streampal.tv is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

As the service is in Early Alpha, you should expect occasional bugs, downtime, and breaking changes. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Streampal.tv and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Since the service is free, this amount is zero in most cases.

15. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. You may delete your account directly from the Dashboard. Alternatively, you can request account deletion by contacting us at [email protected].

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these terms or if we discontinue the service.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes, but it is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

18. Privacy and Your Data

Your use of Streampal.tv is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and how long we retain it. By using the service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

If you are located in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, you have rights under UK GDPR and applicable data protection law, including the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. You may exercise these rights by contacting us at the address below.

You may delete your account and associated data at any time directly from the Dashboard. Uploaded audio files stored on our servers are permanently deleted when you remove them or delete your account.
